Our Philosophy (on the products we stock)
Mail Order Sales (including Delivery Charges)
I like this picture so much it`s also on the Poles and Brackets page (where an explanation
is provided) but it sums up the differing qualities of products in this trade better than anything. Unfortunately the same disparity in quality also applies to aerials and cable etc.
ATV are obsessed with quality and we only sell the best products,
better quality than most aerial installers use in fact.
I hate all that built in obsolescence manufactured down to a price crap,
so we don`t sell it.
If you want a flimsy aerial or pole, go to Argos or Screwfix.....
Whilst we do not give cash refunds on aerials or accessories
we are happy to exchange/swap/upgrade any product *.
* provided it is returned in a saleable condition).
Mail Order Sales All major credit/debit cards accepted, including Access.
We can supply most of our product range “Online” or phone your
order through to 0114 2854254 (Mon to Sat 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM)
Customers who are unsure of what they require or needing specific delivery requests may find it more appropriate to phone their order through.
The Online Shop pages list all our products and their prices.
Unfortunately deliveries by carrier to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and all offshore destinations are subject to a supplement of £34. See Map
Smaller orders which can be sent by post are not subject to supplements.
We can send small orders (e.g. diplexers or splitters) abroad by Airmail :
Up to 600g within Europe, or up to 300g rest of the world = £12 carriage
Unfortunately we cannot ship larger orders (e.g. aerials, cable etc) out of the UK.
but if you can arrange your own collection we`re more than happy
to parcel up the order ready for your carrier to pick up.
It is often cheaper for the Highlands, Islands & N Ireland to do this.
We do need a few hours advance warning, and payment in advance, obviously !
Some of our customers have used www.parcel2go.com.
See sizes of aerial boxes and dimensions of cranked poles.
Some small, low value items* (those which can be sent letter post) are generally cheaper but depend on weight, the smallest items would be £3.50 P&P.
The reduced carriage is not available Online, your order must be phoned through for this.
Packages are sent First Class Post but may take a little longer to arrive than by TNT.
Minimum order value (including P & P) is £5.
* Examples of orders which can be sent out Royal Mail are splitters, most leads,
diplexers, connectors, mains and mast head amps,
(up to) 20m of cable, one lash kit, etc etc.
Orders are usually shipped within 24 hours (M-
but same day despatch is not normally guaranteed. If your order is urgent (and we`re contacted before 12 noon) we can often send it out “same day” if you specifically request this.
Please note that same day despatch is sometimes problematic on a Monday !
Please note all deliveries made by carrier (TNT) will usually require a signature
and they are made Monday to Friday. Many customers find it more convenient
to have their order delivered to their work address and in our experience
there tend to be fewer problems with deliveries to businesses.
If delivery is not made within three working days please contact us.
Deliveries are usually made in the morning but this can be ensured for an additional £6
for before 12.00 deliveries, or an additional £14 for before 10.00 deliveries.
Similarly deliveries on a Saturday are an additional £14.
If the package is damaged and you are in any doubt as to the condition of the order,
please refuse delivery and it will be returned to us for reshipment.
We can accept payment by most credit/switch cards.
Our above mentioned policy of accepting goods back for exchange still stands but the customer is responsible for any carriage charges.
All Prices Include VAT
